A man was in a flood and the river was rising through his house and he got on the roof. Someone came along in a boat and said, "get in and I'll save you" the man said "Never mind, God will protect me" The water kept rising and a police power boat came by and offered to save the man who said again, "Never mind God will look after me" At the end the man was perched on top of the chimney when a helicopter came by and threw him a line. His faith was strong and he refused the assistance by saying, "Never mind God will look after me" After he drowned and was at the pearly gates he confronted God and said "Lord why did you do nothing?" The Lord said, "What are you talking about! I sent you two boats and a helicopter."
