What does it say? 1) He was buying all the way into the bubble and now selling at the bottom? 2) He threw a lot of money at empty businesses without real business plans and now needs to say something to save face? 3) A 35 year old can lose big in a billion dollar portfolio? 4) He knows how to use big words? In any event Vulcan is still putting money into ventures that are near their lows and part of his big Wired World Picture. Message 14628930 In any event, it obviously didn't help those who announced their big short positions at 18. I salute anyone who shorted on the way down from 109, but shorting 2 days ago feeling around at the bottom only leaves one with Brown Fingers.
