Bob - Paul Allen has not been a MSFT employee since 1983, how could he possibly be "the real brains behind MSFT's success" unless you think that success stopped 17 years ago? I have been unimpressed by most of the business ventures Allen has backed. With all due respect, I don't think that what Paul Allen is doing has anything to do with what MSFT is doing, and has not for a VERY long time.
