I'd say those amatuers did pretty good keeping America out of war, paying off America's debt, widening trade with America and, in general, expanding jobs within the American economy. These amatuers also didn't blow it, letting the Internet become what it became. I suppose the best baromter, ironically, that you're likely better off today than you were with Reagan and Bush. Regarding your claim of cabinet indictments, Reagan led the parade there. Nixon had a bunch also. And it's only been Republican presidents who've pardoned Republicans. With the Gore vs. Bush choice? I'd stay on the side more apt to enable every citizen to share in a good economy, rather than switch to Republicans policy which, historically, has always favored the rich. And Bush wants to do it again. Don't let him!
