[This and that. . .]

John --

I'll be signing on from the state hospital if I don't get my technical problems fixed soon. My system crashes about one click in two. Right now I'm signed on through AOL and it seems to be better.

[To anyone whose questions haven't been answered, I simply can't access them. Click. Zapppp. Frozen system. Sign-on again. Wait for everything to load. Click. Zappp. Bumped again. . .]

At any rate, I'll be talking to Amati again later today --- after about five minutes, I got usurped by the CEO --- but, hey, I'm used to it. :) At least I know the guys are back from their respective trips and they're in great spirits. Questions will be answered later.

The TeleTech/GTE contract is another piece in the puzzle and a positive one at that.

Standing back and looking at the bigger picture --- and seeing the enormous barriers to entry for ADSL --- I think we can safely say Amati's got the lead in quality, performance, and soon price and availability. [They have C6X now and estimate general availability in 2 months, products by Sept.]

As I see it, there's no way they won't play a major role in this story.

Preaching to the choir, I know.

Cheers!

Pat
