Ed Snyder amuses me.

I am yet to hear anything positive coming out of this guy about QCOM. How come SEC goes after that teen who made more than $800000 talking same stocks up, but nobody goes after analysts who try to talk stocks down? What is the difference, for crying out loud?

Anywho, this deal between Verizon and Nokia would be a very puzzling to me. Why would Verizon buy 2G 1000000 NOKIA units now? These phones would be delivered some time next year while next year they (Verizon) are going to upgrade their networks fo 1x. Shouldn't they start ordering 1x capable units instead? And we know that NOKIA phones can not do 1x because they need a separate license for that, which they do not have. And they are probably not likely to get one in the near future if they do not sign an ASIC deal with QCOM. Verrry strange....
