>> How does that royalty flow begin? <<

The royalty stream, if there is one, would begin with marketing approval of the first drug. The royalty is what I have called "either/or", and is applied only to the first drug approved..... if one comes out of Solvay, and three come out of OSIP-proprietary, KDUS derives income from only one.

I know of no direct guidance regarding the royalty rate. As described in the thread, I'm using 4%.

They milestones can be derived from combinations of the OSIP-proprietary and OSIP-Solvay projects, but the total possible milestone money is not particularly large.

IMO, the objective was to sell the burn, to allow for maintenance of the scientific effort without layoffs, and to preserve what could be preserved. I don't know if Woler could have gotten more, but I feel that he did a great job to that point.

Further royalty income could derive from the platform license, I believe (note that I'd have to go back to review stuff to be certain, but it would be nuts to have signed that most recent deal without potential royalty flow). I am expecting $0 from SmithKline. I don't know if anyone is peeking at the molecules that are co-owned with GENE.

There are small annual maintenance fees ass'd with the platform license.

Isn't all of this in the thread? I know if was in the Yahoo thread, but they've now closed it. I shouldn't have opened my mouth here.
