Quick Summary - October 17th, 2000

I have worked in exploration for sedex and related replacement-type polymetallic sulfide deposits since
the late 1970's for Anaconda Minerals, BHP, and SAMEX.

(1) Doctorate thesis research 1988-93 involved geologic mapping, structural investigations, and
stratigraphic studies of Proterozoic Belt Supergroup Series rocks - Prichard Fm. up into the Missoula
Gp.

(2) Anaconda Minerals - 1977-78 - Exploration Belt Basin of Montana and Idaho - Sullivan-type
lead-zinc-silver sedex deposits and Spar Lake-type copper-silver diagenetic/replacement deposits.

(3) Anaconda Minerals - 1980-82 - Exploration - Paleozoic Basins of Alaska and Yukon - Selwyn
Basin-type targets (i.e. Red Dog, Faro, Tom, Jason, Howards Pass). Directed exploration program (as
Senior geologist/crew chief) mostly focused in the Alaska Range and the interior of Alaska. Resulted in
the discovery/successful drilling of the Dall massive zinc-copper-silver sulfide deposit hosted in
Ordovician black shale (Road River Fm. equivalent). Also, other numerous mineralized prospects
identified and acquired.

(4) BHP Minerals - 1991-93 - Exploration of the Belt Basin - Idaho and Montana/Purcell Supergroup -
exploration for Sullivan-type sedex lead-zinc-silver and diagenetic lead-zinc-silver, copper-silver, and gold
replacement sulfide deposits in the Prichard Formation.

(5) SAMEX - 1994-present - Exploration of Paleozoic basins of northern part of Argentina and southern
part of Bolivia for sedex and diagenetic/epigenetic replacement lead-zinc-silver deposits with acquisition
of the Wara Wara District. Program is on-going and several prospective belts have been identified and
are being explored (generative program).

(6) Over the last twenty years - I have had many opportunities to visit many mines and prospects on
sedex-, diagenetic/epigenetic replacement-types of lead-zinc-silver deposits located along the Cordillera
from Alaska to Argentina.
