Gerald Walls -- supposedly Welsh heard they were in talks yesterday. The deal was to be done this weekend when he saID "GE will give you more than the $40 bil." That was enough to shut talks down completely as GE is a better stock plus much more of it. I hope GE does not over pay. They were happy with 40 from a lesser company so there really should have been no need to go much more...
