Keith,

No ruffling on this end. Just stated MHO about reasonable expectations.

Keith, I like you too. I think you tend to get stressed like most of us do when you are a bull in a bear market. I think sometimes your posts reflect that stress more than you mean it to. I don't think that makes you bad or anything, but it might not be received too well by others dealing with their own struggles & stress.

BTW, you aren't the only person who does this...... it's more common lately due to this market....... I have just added my thoughts in here an attempt to help since others seem to have observed what I have too.

Perhaps the replies you received were due to a perception that you were a bit harsh in what you said, rather than how it was meant by you. You have made it clear that your intent is only to discuss your thoughts...... you have often expressed your respect for Tom & all other porchers..... I believe you.

However, I will admit it appeared to me you were expecting another reply & it seemed that you were not pleased that one was not received promptly. I sensed some stress on your part regarding RMBS' price action today & near term as well while you referenced Tom's bullishness on RMBS. I got the impression you expected more than you were receiving & were not very happy about it.

I may be totally wrong on this Keith, but that was my perception based on what I read.........

What you said.....from today.......

Post #8893 >>"<<Rmbs - $200 before Jan.>>.........do you have any thoughts on the comments by INTC yesterday concerning rmbs......... Still very concerned about RMBS....like every story, this one has two sides, and I have no idea which to believe. I really think the intc comments were shocking.... I am perplexed that rmbs didnt tank after those words, and in fact wen't up a nice chunk. Could it be that folks are digesting this news and will be selling over the near short term? It just boggles my mind that INTC said the things that they did, while being tied to rmbs for 2 1/2 more years......I just dont know what to make of this. Any thoughts?.... "<<

Post 9047 >>"I have asked Vster to comment several times on rmbs/INTC, but it seems as though either a cat has got his tongue, or maybe I ruffled his feathers a tad last week and he just doesnt want to respond to me...who knows. In any event, I notice he has made no comments about this whatsoever and for somebody with 85% of his holdings in that one company, you would think he would have some comments. But then again, RMBS is down considerably from the upper $80 lower $90 level when he recommended to his people to buy back their CC's because RMBS is going sky high from there. I dont remember the exact event, but some good news came out on rmbs, it saw a pop, and he said there was no stopping rmbs now. Anyway, from that point on, rmbs trended down to the $50's....45% or so, so I really am not surprised he is being a tad quiet about rmbs. The last I heard him say was earlier today when he said RMBS $200 by January. Again, I asked for his opinion, but have not heard one as of yet."<<

Post 9060 >>"Maybe.........I think I may have ruffled his feathers last week when we were having the "faith" Discussion, although that was not my intent. I had made some comments that it is easy to have faith if you have deep pockets and can turn a bad trade into a good trade. I used intc as an example when he called $40 as the bottom. Well, it wasnt, yet in my example I showed how Vster will still make money...no matter how far it falls. being able to average down and keep averaging down allows one to minimize his/her mistakes and losses.........

......I think Vster took all this the wrong way. He commented that faith has nothing to do with money, and his tone, sounded like he was pissed. I have all the respect in the world for Vster, and am sorry if he mistook my take on "faith", but I stock to my guns on this one....faith has an awful lot to do with $$'s......

.....Also, I think maybe V is getting fed up with everybody relying on his opinions. Thats alot of weight he probably doesn't need on his shoulders, however what he should realize is that all he is doing is expressing his opinion to folks who all respect that opinion...including me, whether he is right or wrong. For that, there is nothing to feel guilty about, as expressing his opinion does not make him responsible for others actions.

anyway.......have a great weekend

Keith, could be that after reading this, folks might have gotten a different message than you intended to send, so they reacted to it. Like I said, there are a number of bulls on this thread dealing with their own personal issues & stress too. Seems that on the net, it's easier to vent more strongly than if this was face to face....maybe it's easier to use stronger hints & language than face to face discussions too........

This is all FWIW Keith & anyone who bothers to read my thoughts here. Maybe we can all try to be more considerate before we hit the 'Post Message' button.

Oh, I am certainly without sin in these matters too.

OOF :-|
