tippet -- my guess is it no longer is IF they will buy it as it seems a done deal according to rumor. Since Welsh told them they would pay more than UTX (supposedly $36 Bil) you can bet GE paid at least 10% more........ and most likely a lot more than that. Yes there is a nice fit-- but seems expensive to me.
