meat - HP and CPQ have been battling for #1 in the consumer space since early summer. When you look at the overall numbers for the two companies, HP must have been on a roll in consumers to have had a shot at #1 against CPQ. Separate studies highlight retail sales, and also "home users" versus commercial, and my sense is that in that market CPQ and HP are neck and neck. Since about 35% of CPQ's units are consumer units, and HP's units overall are 3/5 of CPQs, it seems obvious that HP is more than half consumer sales.
