Talk it up, everyone. I remember seeing an Aviation trade magazine at a machine shop's entry lobby. A guy was flying F-100s (and having a ball) for the National Guard.."If the public knew that keeping me flying cost them $1000 a minute, I think the Air National Guard would disappear. But I love it!" (1970's $1000/a minute).

Two tenets about disbelieving in God.
If he exists, as a "super Dad" (as in the Bible) why would he allow atheists to disbelieve, if he truly loves them and wants them to believe? If the bark on the tree in the backyard suddenly turned into text, telling me how to lead a better life, heck I would worship..(and I'm not talking about an image of Jesus burned into a taco! That is NOT a sign!) Why should I believe some priest, who turns out to molest young boys?? Direct communication..like gravity, would be available, young or old, if God existed.

I like the Italian journalist who asked the Pope in an interview, "If God does exist, why is he hiding out?"

Second tenet: If God as a loving god exists, why is there so much evil in the world? Such as infants with terminal illness? People born blind? Don't say it's "lessons" to be learned. The TV evangelist who lives a life of luxury, then goes to prison. Now, what are his lessons, and what have I missed? Do I have to learn whatever he learned? Do I have to get famous, for a while?? What?
