You are full of bogus history. The Swiss have been for hundreds of years the most warlike of peoples. Not having enough of war themselves, they hired out as mercenaries and formed the core of French and Papal armies.
As for Buddhists, the Sri Lankan buddhists are engaged in a terrible civil war with the Tamils today. The Vietnamese, and Laotian, and Khmer Rouge Buddhists fought a horrible war in the middle of the 20th century. The Buddhist Chinese frequently invaded and fought the Tibetan Buddhists for many years. The Thai and Burmese Buddhists fought each other for hundreds of years. The Japanese Buddhists were the cruelist and most militant imperialists for hundreds of years. All in all, Buddhists are no more peaceful than Mahometans, Christians, or Jews.
