Cummings: Re Flynt:

Money will buy anything these days. Just ask Mitch McConnell and the Republican keepers of the purse.

But let me get this right: It's OK for Repubs to buy elections through the use of soft-money, strong-arm tactics which enable them to raise twice as much as Dems so as to air twice as many truth-twisting TV ads.

But it's NOT OK for Larry Flynt to offer bounties on GOP sleaze?

I don't see any difference here.

Sleaze is sleaze. If you're gonna criticize Big Bill for letting his John Henry do his thinking for him, then you also must criticize Rep. Dan Burton of Indiana for fathering a child, then taking no role in the upbringing of the youth, even going so far as to deny he was the father, then later saying, yes, I guess I was the father.

If you think what Larry Flynt is doing is deplorable, then you also must criticize GOP soft money strong-arm tactics.

You can't have it both ways.

Either be honest about the big picture or keep quiet.

P.S. It's my guess more Republican perverts buy Hustler than "average union type Democrats." We "average union type Democrats" don't have to prove we're men.

Have a nice day, chump.
