I don't think that delaying a FAB's opening from a few weeks before the Holidays to a few weeks after them is a big deal - most FABs seem to take longer to build than expected. What is a little scary, though, is the thought that Intel could be so organizationally screwed up that an important supplier would give up on doing business with them (and what supplier could be more important than one of the builders of your primary resource, FAB space?)

It's another head scratcher regarding what has always been imagined to be a well run company.
