Niceguy, Re: Pretty soon those numbers might be representative even outside Dell's front doors...

It's always interesting to see what the folks using your product have to say, this from AMDZone's BBS... amdzone.com

I just LOVE AMD's strategy! First, come up with a better core. Then beat every Intel release with a higher clock speed chip, AND better performance clock for clock. And THEN do it all cheaper, at both the high end (Athlon) and low end (Duron.) If the Celeron and P3 didn't have a virtual stranglehold on OEM's, Santa Clara would have one less technology giant.

The Duron 800 and Athlon 1200 are two more missiles heading towards a weakened Intel, and with Intel's slipping release dates and inferior roadmap, what's going to keep them afloat in an industry that is becoming increasingly less loyal to monopolies and more loyal to the bottom line? What on Earth would make an OEM choose a Celeron over a Duron right now?

Kindest regards,
CrazyMan
