Isn't entertainment the main reason most of us are here?
Most people on SI by tradition and by virtue of the small entrance fee have made SI a central mover for significant technical, financial and economic information as it relates to investments in certain companies that are traded or will be traded on exchanges. Some of our observations and opinions are constantly quoted in all major newservices in this country. I, as were some of our other Members, contacted by Associated press recently, and on more than one occassion by vitue of our comments here.
Aol, Raging Bull, Yahoo, and the other 200 sites all have distinct shortcomings either because of participation or orientation.
The Members here try to add information and valid comment, sometimes with serious detailed data and opinion, sometimes by humor or sarcasm.
Even posters like cheryl williamson, in some twisted manner, add to the body of work by providing criticism based on some disjuctive interpretation of facts, providing a oblique foil to test other perhaps too positive interpretation of events or reports.
You, are here to dick around, and you have admitted as such in a previous post.

If you find your comments have no other purpose than to establish yourself as agent provocateur, maybe you should rethink your postings. You are not wasting our time so much as you are wasting yours.
