Innuit,
I am here, still long and strong. Took awhile to digest all the events surrounding the second quarter, but I did it and made a decision that this is the move to the big leagues. I was happy to see ctxs put together a good quarter, good considering the circumstances. If they have truly adjusted the inventory levels down to where they need to be (which I think they are very very close even though they are acting as if they have alot more work) they can start selling into the channel again while still ramping up the paper license. I also think that the increase in W2K and enterprise sales will take us over the top in the fourth quarter. They added some great companies during the 3rd quarter, including EDS (which leads me to believe we should expect some news concerning the Navy contract), which validates their technology. Just like they coined the phrase "ASP", they are gaining ground with the "Intranet Portal" as the secure alternative to webifying all your corporate software. I truly believe Nfuse will be very big, and that Vertigo will just be gravy. The great thing about Vertigo, is you will have to install metaframe to enjoy the full richness it will provide apps over small devices.
Lets get the chatter going again, as I too feel good news will be starting over next week or so. I am also not leaving out a msft buyout, especially since their stock has become stronger and CTXS is being very ho-hum about placing a new CEO.
My thoughts only, and comments appreciated.
