OK, ignorance is bliss. Whatever. "I'm scared though, since shorting has unlimited downside" Only for those who don't believe in stops. -g- Even then, the 'unlimited downside' is theoretical claptrap. If you're thinking of short common/long calls you may as well just go long puts. It's the equvalent risk/reward with less slippage and put premiums are generally less than call premiums.
