UniComp selected for HP's Cure2000 program
MARIETTA, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 1997--UNICOMP, INC.
(NASDAQ:UCMP) announced today that its
subsidiary, Unibol, Inc., has partnered with Hewlett-Packard Company in
HP's Cure2000 solution to provide year 2000 tools, services and
rehosting products for HP clients.
In a March 4, 1997 news release, HP announced its Cure2000 solution to
address organizations' year 2000 date issues. As
part of this solution, HP is partnering with year-2000 tools and service
providers that will help its customers update or replace
their applications, whether they are running on the HP 9000, HP 3000,
mainframes or proprietary midrange systems.
UniComp's GO2000 is a methodology developed by Unibol to address year
2000 issues in IBM System/36 and AS/400 applications. The methodology
combines tools and expertise to address the phases necessary in
providing a year 2000
solution. This methodology includes Inventory of programs, Impact
analysis, Build, Test and Implementation phases as well as
support.
