Liberals Write Scathing Book on Gore

If Gore loses this race - it looks increasingly
likely that he will - it may be due to the
stubborn support liberal activist Ralph Nader
continues to receive.

The major press isn't reporting this, but the
left wing of the Democratic Party doesn't trust
Al Gore.

In fact, a new book out by syndicated columnist
Alexander Cockburn and CounterPunch editor
Jeffrey St. Clair lays out the liberal case
against Gore.

In Cockburn and St. Clair's "Al Gore: A User's
Manual" the two claim, "Al Gore distills in his
single person the disrepair of liberalism in
America today, and almost every unalluring
feature of the Democratic Party."

With these words, two of the great muckrakers of
our time begin the first, most unsparing
examination of the personal and political record
of this man who was raised from birth to be
president of the United State.

Cockburn and St. Clair reveal clearly that one
of Al Gore's distinctive personality traits from
childhood has been his tendency to exaggerate
his accomplishments.

What sort of a man is Al Gore? What's his real
political record?

The book sheds new light on:

* How Al Gore and his father got on the payroll
of one of America's most ruthless tycoons,
Armand Hammer

* How Al Gore has relentlessly exploited his
sister's death and son's accident for personal
political advantage

* How Al Gore violated the most basic
journalistic ethics by helping the cops run a
sting operation on a black politician in
Nashville

* How Al Gore played midwife to the MX missile

* How Al Gore became a soul brother of Newt
Gingrich

* How Al Gore race-baited Jesse Jackson and
introduced George Bush to Willie Horton

* How Al Gore shopped his vote in support of the
Gulf War to get prime-time coverage for his
speech

* How Al Gore pushed Clinton into destroying the
New Deal

* How Al Gore plotted to stop Democrats from
recapturing Congress in 1996 in order to keep
his rival Dick Gephardt from becoming Speaker of
the House

* How Al Gore leached campaign donations from
nearly every corporate lobbyist in D.C. and
broke pledge after pledge to protect the
environment.

We all know some liberals. As broadcasting
legend Barry Farber once said, it's OK to have
liberals around: "they're good for research and
breeding purposes."

NewsMax.com recommends this new book, to find
out why liberals are voting for Nader and why
Gore doesn't measure up, and to share with
liberal friends who are supporting Gore - for
research purposes, of course.
