Hi everyone,

I'm new to this thread, and to daytrading, but with real interest in short-term trading after my visit to the Toronto Online Investing Forum last weekend (anyone here there??). A few questions to all here:

1. Are there any pitfalls for Canadians signing up for an US trading firm? I'm particularly interested in signing up with Trade Desk America (they were at the show). This firm is owned by French Canadians... only US$10,000 capital requirement, and willing to provide training. A trade will cost $14.95 which appears reasonable.

2. Anyone here read the book "A Beginner's Guide to DayTrading" by Toni Turner? This book was recommended at the forum... I've read it, and I'm glad I did before starting out daytrading. Would like to discuss points contained in this book with others.

Cheers... and do answer me!!
