Carl thanks for the discounted cash flow analysis and all I can say is WOW.

However, what I want to know is: IS THERE A BASIS OR NOT, based on IP (if it is valid) for collecting on both controllers and chipsets.

I am trying desperately to figure out what their patents actually cover (again assuming that they are valid)

Why are chipsets covered by their IP, why are memory controllers as opposed to memory covered by their IP?

The courts will decide one way or the other and you are right about that. Neither Zeev nor I nor anyone knows for sure what will happen. That makes options less risky than common in many many ways. I know some people that have their entire portfolio on this thing. I certainly would not recommend it. We all know what will happen (hopefully we all do) if Rambus patents do not hold up!

What I am STILL STILL STILL trying to figure out is what the patents cover if their IP is indeed valid.

Please try again.
