Amy: I believe if you knew more about the model of SUN you would be able to make a more educated decision on the investment potential of the stock. Firstly, Sun Microsystems is a "fab-less" chip producer. They never resell chips of other manufacturers like Intel. They have been very strong both in developing the leadership role in the most scalable OS, namely UNIX. They have the most popular UNIX flavor, SOLARIS which will be ported to the Itanium class of chips. Sun has made the most out of strategic company acquisitions for one purpose, to further their model of the network is the computer, or as they call it today the furtherence of "webtone".

Sun has desired not to compete with their customers as Intel does. They simply supply their customers with building blocks such as supplying ISP's and ASP.

With the model and management of SUN to place "all the wood" behind one arrow, they have a great position for now and for the future of Internet computing.
