I'm not much for manifestos; I think reading them is very nearly as much a waste of time as writing them, and I certainly don't place much credence in anything written by people who don't understand that the word "ethics" is a plural noun.

However, I don't see why a child molester should take any comfort in the notion that people should decide whether acts are permissible or not based on the logically projected or empirically verified consequences of those acts, rather than basing their decisions on the revealed word of some deity that might not even exist.
