Richnorth. yes we still ride the pony express, once a year as a tradition. In fact the number of new 35MM cameras is falling rapidly. It will never stop being used, but soon lower volumes will cut into filem makers profits as their fixed costs eat then alive and they will drop filem.
Kodak is old and die hard and had to be dragged kickubg and screaming into the digital age.
They are now doing it, but not very well. Tiny lensed cameras, useless. Look at Nikon...interchangeable lenses eyc.
In fact they just make a digital back for their traditional cameras.
