I too, was intimidated by futures, but in the end, I was forced to look at it as just another trading vehicle, one with lots of liquidity. Believe me, when one is trading stocks like I was, it was intimidating just to get up in the morning, knowing that the position might be $15,000 against me. Now I don't have to worry about such things.
