Joe, OT OT OT re: guns Our gun policy is insane. There may be some debate over whether or not further gun control would be constitutional, but let's leave that aside for now. (assume our legislators are weened off NRA money and get some backbone, and amend the constitution, if necessary) How many lethal stabbings, burnings, killings-by-means-other-than-a-gun occur, compared to good old death-by-gun? I haven't seen the statistics you mention regarding non-gun-related crime being higher in the US than elsewhere. But who said people don't cause gun murders? People use guns to cause gun murders.
