Fred, you said:
As the Chief Operating Officer of Novell, THE best reason to return someone's call would be based on ONE thing: he/she is a shareholder.

I may be splitting hairs here (and taking your statement out of context), but isn't that the job of investor relations?

Why would Stewart Nelson want to talk to you? You have publically called for his head. More than once. Over the course of more than a year. Even when you say you were NOT an investor in this company. If you were to say to his face (or rather to his ear on the phone) the things you have written on this list and he were to hang up on you as anyone would a crank call, he would be opening himself up to more criticism of his character and his ten cent options. He may not have the time or patience to listen to a verbal account paralleling what you ordinarily post here.

I think that if Stewart Nelson wanted your advice on how to run a company, he certainly would not have waited for you to call first. This is not a personal attack, and I do enjoy the first few paragraphs of each of your posts, but stop wasting your time thinking that this man will call you back. Perhaps your advice would be more welcome at another company, but clearly it is not at Novell.

There is something that most young women learn when they begin to date: if he doesn't call in two weeks, he's either not interested or simply not worth the time. No matter what the reason, give it up and go on.

As always, JMHO.
