J --

I'm still in the dark about details of the Amati guys' travels, but I figure we'll all know eventually. What I do know is everything's positive.

I managed to remember to ask about the cash situation and there's still $5M in Soros money they can use if needed, and beyond that it's a matter of deciding which way they want to go. A secondary is a possibility depending on which decisions are made. Yep, lots of verbal circumnavigation; the main point being there's no cash crunch. It's there when they need it.

I asked when we'd see the Siemens numbers and was told evertyhing is moving on schedule --- teams are putting together schedules, and so on -- but numbers can't come out until the chips get to a certain stage. I guess they [Siemens] wants to be sure they work. Can't hardly blame them. :)

I was told there's an interoperability announcement ready to come out, but, again, there's no guarantee when. I made sure it was positive AND it is. :)

I'll ask about the BT/MCI and France Telecom contracts next time. I've been so focused on Siemens and HKT, I've almost forgotten them.

Short term, I suspect SuperComm is our best bet in terms of press.

I'm just glad so much is positive and we can all turn off our PCs and have a great week-end.

Cheers!

Pat
