Doug, OT 1. Baby vs. Fetus Calling it a fetus just dehumanizes the argument. 2. Discomfort Adoption makes the length of the discomfort limited to 9 months at most. Abortion involves some discomfort and trauma as well. So it's a question of length and degree. Considering the fact that the "easier" option involves taking a human life makes the sum less easy to accept. Consider that also not arguing one way or another. <g> Just because I "buy" some of the arguments of the anti-abortion side doesn't mean I buy all of them and all the implications. I also buy many of the arguments of the pro-abortion side. I just find it to be a total copout to "ignore" that the discussion is about a human life. Anyway, this is not the right forum to discuss the issue. p.s. what do you think of the LSI deal? I was hoping to find some analysis here to spare me from having to think this early in the morning. <g> Joe
