Mike, thanks for the info. I'll bet most of the people on this thread who keep checking on it are old timers who are probably still holding a large exposure to CTXS. I have been long since January 1997. We were all clobbered in June. When the war with MSFT occured in Feb 97 (I think it was February) this was a very active board. Most of the people had lost a great deal at that time (CTXS went from about $48 to about $10). The excellent and lively discussion on the thread convinced me to hang on, buy more. I made some "internet friends" who made recommendations off-line about other stocks--some good some bad.

There are probably few "newbies" on this thread because it has little for them. Few posts. Very technical.

We are not asking people on this thread to do DD. We are asking our "internet threads" to share their knowledge. We all have something to contribute. My contribution I believe is that I am good at synthesizing data. But I have to understand it. I am a scientist. But not a computer techie. If I don't understand what a product does, you can bet that most people and analysts don't understand.

If PALM was a product that was explained "technically" nobody would buy it. Look at the Pocket PC. A better product, but being sold as a compter in the pocket. Nobody wants that.Palm in its ads and annual reports tells me that I am buying a calendar that I can synchronize with Outlook and that it is small and looks neat. That what sells the product. Everyone understands. Ninety percent of the folks do not understand the new CTXS products and how they might change their lives.

It is my belief that CTXS is a good company. When people understand what its products do they will buy the stock.
