Great post, Dan. My question is, is there a trendline that is long-term sustainable? I suspect the 1994 linear SPX trendline at about 1200 is, because by definition returns will get lower as the line gets higher (e.g. all 100-point moves are treated the same, whether it's from 500-600 or 1100-1200).
