"I ask again..., why is the stock at 7 3/4 if ANY of the crap the shorts have thrown out true? Makes no sense does it?"
Dave
Another way to look at the investment decision is to consider that the 52 week high was at $28.60 for a total valuation of $655,770,000.
Trading now at around $7.75 gives you a valuation of $174,711,000 or a market loss of $481,059,000! That is a tremendous decrease in valuation, and comes after they "started their comercial production".
The stock has fallen dramatically since their most positive news to date, i.e. the plant opening came to fruition.
It may not be the short version at all that has caused this, but instead, the financial condition of the company, unpaid bills, layed off workers, SEC and Serious Fraud Office investigations... I believe these conditions are most responsible for the huge price decline from a year ago, or even during the last 30 days.
At the current price, I do not think under the circumstances it is wise to recommend people invest or short the stock based on the current news available to us. |
