Carl,

There is another reason why the 820 chipset is cheaper, and that is FEWER high current PINS, hence smaller die size.

Since Intel has *allegedly* fallen out of love with Rambus, I see no reason why they would maintain artificial pricing on the 820, to encourage OEMs to use it rather than the 815.

What was the source for your pricing on these chipsets BTW
