JR, JP talked to DD twice about this. Initially DD thought they had not done anything with GP. In the second conversation DD said KK acknowledged that he (KK) *had* sent some product to GP. So, it's a (remote) possibility. XYLOY does not need to be combined with ANY petrochemicals to produce an adhesive for plywood and particle board. But, it can be. However, the result is inferior: it's not waterproof. OTOH, since plywood and particle board makers are so used to using phenol-formaldehyde resins, they might want to add some out of their conservatism.

BTW, it really sounds like the company is making excellent progress in the foundry and tooling businesses as well as in the wood bonding. But, nothing official yet, and given what inconsistent behavior we've had from them in the past regarding developments and their reporting of same, I don't care to speculate how soon anything will happen. Nevertheless, given what I've heard, the stock's current price represents an amazing bargain.

Euan, JP asked about a "major marketing campaign" also. DD said they were just planning to place ads in the relevant trade magazines to raise manufacturers' awareness of Lenox's tooling products. They are also working on a deal with a PR firm (not official yet), but the aim of this also is to get to manufacturers.

FWIW.
