Yeah, sure; I'll send you a check however. I do not believe it is that hard though. John Templeton did it around 1995. I investigated the cost of homes in Bermuda at the same time. The Bermudian Government only stipulated that as an alien I had to pay a certain amount.....I think it was a minimum of 1.2M at the time. I'm already a citizen of Ireland and any property I have in the US would be gone except for a winter residence at most and I might even just rent that. Anyway, it's a distant future issue. One time I visited Bermuda just after a hurricane and the airport had collapsed. I understand the Jersey shore took a pounding in 1999, haven't been down to see since. Somehow the hurricanes aren't as threatening in larger cities like Ontario and Vancouver it would seem. Small places like Bermuda are pretty exposed, probably because the hurricane can feed off the ocean water. Brother, I don't even like a wet cellar so a hurricane is one step up from a forest fire for me.
