AMD-760 Chipset And Mustang CPUs On 1st November? [11:58 am]

According to the information we received from a few different sources simultaneously, AMD-760 chipset
supporting DDR SDRAM and 266MHz (133MHz DDR) FSB is very likely to be announced on 1 November.
Besides, we also expect AMD to announce the next CPU generation aka Mustang on the same day. In fact,
the whole thing is certainly not about the shipments, because AMD is anyway far ahead of its major
competitor, Intel. That’s why manufacturing faster CPUs will hardly make much sense now. So, we suspect
that AMD will arrange the so-called "paper announcement". As for AMD-760, the situation is absolutely clear:
it’s launching is quite justified. That’s why this chipset will surely start shipping to the mainboard manufacturers
in volume next month.

From ixbt-labs.com news of Oct. 23, via AMD zone, which I checked after your "extremely cool" post.

On the other hand, a "reliable" source from the alternative universe of Rambusland has the P4 being launched Oct. 30. In Indonesia. Who can say?

Cheers, Dan.
