Tom Peters will tell you that the "Quality process" is never ending, my question is does HANDspring share this vision of manufacturing excellence and superior customer service? It a good thing to ask.
Do you remember the 80's? Do you know who Demming is? Hint: the Japanese's highest industrial award is named after him, and they put up a statue too.
TheTruthSeeker set out to find out the answer to the quality of the sub-contracted manufacturers. Are there sqeeaking wheels, are all the wheel on the cart? This is what the Internet search was looking for. Are there themes to the issues, is there a process that needs to be corrected? The search come back with a lot of information.
Does Handspring have the quality vision? BTW that is the bias of every consumer, and if you had not noticed, is the customer that pays HAND. Wait, I mean...at some point...it will there will be no more IPO investor's dollars in the Bank...then....then it will be the customers who pay the bills of HAND employees and subcontractors, and then it will be the customers that count.
also did you read this part in the orginal ----(please note: I am collecting the feedback on the quality, to be sure, there are also posts from users who like the product, however, it’s the quality that is being examined, the realistic consumer impression is that it works fine and is sturdy, no comments convey that)
What I was trying to say, that no comment by a user to quality often means that it meets minimum expectations, I was looking for the squeeking wheels, you don't fix a non-problem---you find the problem then fix it |
