A share is a share; it never is anything but a share.

The number of shares outstanding never tells anything different.

So, hypothetically, if a $500 billion company with 10 billion shares outstanding that's in a sideways trend buys a $10 million dollar company with 5 million shares outstanding that's breaking out to new highs you'd say that the because the stocks are now linked the strength in the smaller company will drive the larger purchaser up.

If you want to argue; you have lost.

Whatever you say, chief.

I assert that Honeywell is no longer priced in dollars. It's priced in shares of GE stock. HON's stock price in dollars is a derivative of GE's. GE's price will dictate HON's price.
