Good Afternoon Shalom,

I totally agree with your comments regarding the need for compassion as a basis for understanding between peoples, weather they are Christian or non-Christian. I thought you stated that very well.

I also agree with you that most of the Christians on this thread handle themselves very well. I think most of the people here are reasonably tolerant.

I do have one thing I didn't agree with as much. I don't think that Christian's are afforded any more or less rights than any other group in the USA. Nor do I think they should have any more or less rights. Weather Christians become a minority or stay or majority is totally dependent upon one thing, and one thing only. How many people feel that Christianity is their personal answer to whatever spiritual questions/needs they may have. If they hear the calling they will come, if they don't, they won't.

Mark

The only aspect of my post that I thought you misunderstood was the slanting of my question towards Christianity. I did slant the question, but only because I was talking to Christians. If I was talking a predominantly Jewish group, I would have slanted it towards Judaisim.........

I also agre totally with what you said about being able to agree on friendship.... :')
