dybdahl, you are comparing apples and oranges to suit your need to criticize Microsoft. The linux OS that boots from a floppy and runs in 4MB doesn't have most of the functionality of the win2k that doesn't run in 64MB. In fact the embedded NT product does allow proper componentization to achieve smaller footprint at the expense of functionality.
