One of those "let the kid steer for awhile" and then the adults got drunk and passed out. The seas did get to 3' (6' from peak to trough) and came over the bow. I've also dome a lot of fishing on Lake Michigan in a 18 foot tri-hull. 16 miles was the farthest I went out in that boat. I did take the USPS course and got 100% on the test. I fish more dangerous waters now, the power plant lake at Clinton. Guys in cuddy cabins running over people, people falling off hang gliders into boats.
