Those are clear examples of the boys demonstrating "fitness." There isn't even any inconsistency there, is there? Isn't it what one would expect?
If the teacher liked the boys who broke the rules, her rules, more than she did the "good" boys, that would show contradiction, though.
Here are some contradictions I observe.
Women say they want "sensitive" men who cry easily. My observation is that that's bs and that they want strong, brave men.
Men say they want women who are intelligent and have a good personality. I think they want, first, sexually attractive in physical ways (the obvious), then, if the man has the value in the sexual marketplace himself to command them, he will look for personality attributes as add-ons. (A balance in desired characteristics must be struck, obviously--the best the man can do.)
Doctors say they like informed, involved patients, but for the most part, they like passive patients who get into their offices and out fast and don't ask them for explanations.
Voters say they care about issues, but most vote for personality.
Everyone says they wish for the greatest of good fortune for their friends, but when their friend has a wonderful thing happen to them, they are often jealous and resentful.
Etc etc etc. I could go on all day, lol. It's an interesting subject.
