Talk about a discontinuous innovation! How about taking existing drugs and splitting the isomer and then patenting the side that provides the benefit. SEPR has an absolutely huge pipeline of improved drugs that they are rolling out. The son of Prozac drug was a big disappointment but it is nice that they have another 15 drugs that continue to move through trials. This is my largest holding and the only one that reminds me of a Gorilla in the biotech area. Needless to say, I did not have a great week. But I'm sticking with this one until at least 2005.
