Sadaam's oil is a drop in the world energy barrel. Completely immaterial. If you diagree, think of how much affect Clinton's strategic petroleum release was- about nil. Iraq shutting off would have about the same affect. (BTW, Eric, the iraqi's are starving. They have no food.)

And Saudi Arabia is one of the most moderate of the major oil-producing countries. We saved their butts and Kuwait's butts in 1990, remember? (as well as the rest of the regions' butts)

And again, the US imports more energy from Canada than from any other country. And the head of OPEC is from Venezuela.

I have been long energy co's and energy srvcs stocks since mid 1999, and in and out periodically over the several yrs prior to that.
