Oh, yes. If you asked one of those little boys if it was a nice thing to do, to disturb the teacher by tapping his pen, he would probably say no. I agree with what you said about men and women. Though everyone tries to get the most attractive person they can with the necessary other (personality, intellectual) attributes, if the issue is with whom to mate and have children. There is a different standard for a sexual encounter than for a marriage partner. And everyone even has a different standard for a prospective "relationship" than for a one night stand. Well, everyone who isn't a complete idiot.
