You have not missed much in terms of not getting sick. I thought I was immune to it. I have been on boats where even the captain got sick, and I was okay.

But when it hits, there is nothing worse. I remember being on the boat off the outer banks with a huge swell, and the rule was you couldn't vomit in the boat.
