Hi jpgill: So you want to know what the RR Hammer is.... hum. Might be difficult to describe. Might have to have some others jump in here, too.

That phrase came out of the Porch Party. In my great excitement when discussing making money, I tend to go wild. When I describe a good trade or the potential for one, I sometimes would swing my fist in the air and slam it down with my arm cocked like a hammer. A strong, violent, and powerful swing. When I do it I usually say "Hot Damn", or something to that effect. The first time I did it, I think Jim Willie jumped 10 feet. Legs' eyes got real big and I think she might have left the room. This was before she learned that I'm really a nice guy. Funny, that's when Depy said, "Hey, RR's alright!" Scott Mantz just looked at me with a funny look on his face like what am I doing here.

It's hard to describe as it must only be done with spontaneous emotion brought on by a huge money making trade or the bottled up emotions of the potential for a huge one, like a double!

I was also telling the folks that it is not uncommon for me to go running through the house with my calculator in hand yelling "look how much money we made" at the top of my voice and periodically raising my fist in the air yelling "hot daaaaamn" as I slam an RR Hammer down.

My family thinks I'm nuts when I do that but they understand.

Suffice it to say, I love making money and kicking this market in the butt. Consequently, I like to celebrate, thus, the RR Hammer was born at the Porch Party.

Now Jim Willie has an RR Hammer imitation he's tried to do before but he doesn't have the southern accent down nor the loud voice volume I do.

I tell ya, Jim Willie did jump the first time I spontaneously did one when telling a story. He was later heard asking Voltaire if I was nuts.......

That's it..... the RR Hammer. Others feel free to add to the story.

What a hoot.
